AYSO Extra is less expensive then Clubs programs.
AYSO Extra recognizes that young players have multiple interests and put players and families first.
AYSO Extra teams are competitive with most Bronze level Club teams.
AYSO Extra Program league season fees are inclusive.
AYSO Extra Program fees are End Point, not a starting point for cost.
AYSO players are guaranteed ¾ play if regularly attending practice and games.
AYSO players improve because of competitive play and time on the ball.
AYSO utilizes small sided games that encourage more touches on the ball that encourages development. Players won't develop if sitting and watching.
AYSO coaches are volunteers with demonstrated experience and pre-requisite training for age and division coaching.
AYSO provides free ongoing skill development clinics for players and coaches.
AYSO Intermediate Referees are eligible for the same USSF Grade 8 badge held by most entry level Club program referees.
AYSO provides referees free ongoing assessment, training and upgrade opportunities.
AYSO Extra teams may play in Cal South sanctioned tournaments and State Cup in addition to most AYSO tournaments as well as tournaments developed for the EXTRA program.
AYSO utilizes many of the same paid Professional trainers as the local clubs and universities.
60% of AYSO Extra program fees go directly toward professional trainer.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR ENTHUSIASTIC YOUTH REFEREES
AYSO youth referees in Newbury Park help officiate our younger divisions. They start with U7/8 games and as their confidence grows they move up to refereeing U10 games.
To become a referee you must be at least 12 years old and you must complete an AYSO referee clinic. The clinics will teach you the laws of the game and prepare you to go onto the fields and referee lower division games.
Youth referees can earn community service credit for attending clinics and refereeing games.
